Bit of an introductory thing

Let's see if I can get this thing working, shall we?
I can't promise to be consistent or engaging, but I love to put pen to paper or finger to keyboard as it is and to explore what others have written.
Things you will see me writing about:
Transspeciesism, birds, flight, the sky, possibly some fiction should I ever dust off my skills, some poetry [mostly freeform] and whatever else I can string into a coherent sentence.
I'm friendly, don't bite [often, and not without good reason] and I'd love to get to know this site better.

Some nice bird people who I know on here are
There's an otherkin community at
I would love to see your thoughts about transspeciesism particularly: the word, why you use it. I feel like I am one of few people who also feels, "transspecies", so, I'm interested in your thoughts. ^v^
If you want to look around my journal, most of it is nonhuman themed in some way, but my not human tag, swans tag and birds tag are good places to look.
I hope you like it here!

Date: 2012-04-19 04:35 am (UTC)I am otherkin, as has been stated above, I'm cat (or possibly Cait Sidhe, I'm still trying to learn about that part of myself) and firebird. I'm friendly, chatty when the mood strikes, happy to exist next to someone when the mood doesn't and usually somewhere in the middle.
I discovered that I wasn't human not that long ago, to be honest, (not even a year now) so I don't have that many thoughts have been collected on this subject. Tumblr is where that stuff goes and even then, it's a lot more stories.
I am a creature of words more than anything else, I have to say. I live for them, live for people using them and myself using them, so, assuming you don't mind me friending you, I look forward to reading your poetry and will encourage you terribly to use your fiction skills.
And yes, considering I am low on words, this is rather wordy. *laughs* I'm sorry, I am fluctuating between caffeine rushes and crashes at the moment, so I'm in a strange state.

Date: 2012-04-19 02:53 pm (UTC)Good to meet a feline/possible one of my favorite creatures [next to a shuck or a Each Usige but that's just personal preference]/firebird. I look forwards to furthering discussions with you :D
Not at all, not at all. That strange stage, I'm familiar with it, usually bought on about two or three cups of green tea.

Date: 2012-04-22 01:29 pm (UTC)Glad to have piqued your interest, and I don't mind at all only as if likewise you don't mind if I stickybeak about your journals.
Thankyou! I do love my country, though New Zealand tugs my heartstrings every now and then as well.
